As a profession, social work must evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of individuals and communities, adapting to contemporary developments. The changes in societal life during and after the Covid-19 pandemic have revealed a shift towards a new eco-social landscape. Thus, the papers presented during this conference address various social issues and challenges, including child welfare and protection, elder care, disability welfare, rehabilitation, corrections, health and mental health issues, marginalised groups, disaster management, and more.
The insights shared by the authors and presenters provide essential input to enhance this profession, ensuring the delivery of the best possible services to clients within the community.
