Kajian Kebolehlaksanaan ISM Sebagai Agensi Akreditasi Kerja Sosial di Malaysia

The demand from stakeholders for courses and training related to Social Work is increasing daily. Consequently, there is an urgent need for the establishment of an accreditation agency to regulate and ensure the quality of these courses and training. The primary objective of this study was to assess the feasibility of the Malaysian Social Institute (ISM) as the Social Work Accreditation Agency of Malaysia (AAKSM).

The study was conducted over six months using a qualitative research design. In-depth interviews were carried out with eight participants between 29 March 2024 and 21 August 2024. Participants were selected using purposive sampling techniques. SWOT analysis was employed to evaluate the feasibility of ISM as a Social Work Accreditation Agency.
