The Proceedings of the Research Colloquium of Institut Sosial Malaysia compiles findings from a series of colloquia organised by Institut Sosial Malaysia (ISM) to discuss current social issues through in-depth studies and research. These colloquia aim to connect social work practitioners, academics, and social experts in an academic forum that strengthens social policies and facilitates the planning of new programmes.
This proceedings document is a compilation of papers presented at the Second National Social Work Conference 2023, held on 13 and 14 September 2023 at the Social Institute of Malaysia. The event was organised by the School of Applied Psychology, Policy and Social Work (SAPSP), Universiti Utara Malaysia, and the Social Institute of Malaysia. This marks the second conference organised by SAPSP focusing on social work and current social issues.
